How can I watch Man City v Man United? Live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event from 4pm.
Just weeks into the new Premier League season and Manchester City are already in another 'mini crisis' after two defeats in their opening three fixtures.
But with new signing goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma secured in the transfer window, what better opportunity for Pep to put things right than with a win against their neighbours in the Manchester derby, straight after the international break?
LOSS: Brighton 2-1 Man City. Sunday 31st August 2025.LOSS: Man City 0-2 Spurs. Saturday 23rd August 2025.WIN: Wolves 0-4 Man City. Saturday 16th August 2025.
Man United by contrast have picked up four points from a possible nine so far and celebrated their last-gasp 3-2 home win over Burnley like they had won a cup final - the relief palpable after the embarrassment of the Carabao Cup defeat on penalties at Grimsby.
WIN: Man Utd 3-2 Burnley. Saturday 30th August 2025.LOSS ON PENS: Grimsby 2-2 Man Utd. Wednesday 27th August 2025.DRAW: Fulham 1-1 Man Utd. Sunday 24th August 2025.LOSS: Man United 0-1 Arsenal. Sunday 17th August 2025.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Man City as strong 7/10 favourites to win the Manchester Derby while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Cityzens at 8/13.
Manchester United meanwhile are 16/5 outsiders to grab all three points at the Etihad (29/10 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 16/5.
In the last 10 league meetings between the sides at the Etihad, Manchester United have - perhaps surprisingly - had the upper hand winning five of those encounters compared to four wins for City and one draw.
Last season the Red Devils shocked the hosts, coming back from 1-0 down at half-time to take the points with late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo. Manchester United to win 2-1 after being 1-0 down at half-time for this encounter is priced at 22/1 with Spreadex.

Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Manchester City/Manchester United 0.75 - 0.95. This means a 'buy' bet at 0.95 would need City to win by at least a goal to start turning a profit (e.g. one goal win would win 0.05 x your stake, two goal win 1.05 times your stake, three goal win 2.05 your stake etc.).
A 0.75 'sell' bet would need either a draw or Manchester United win to turn a profit (e.g. draw would win 0.75 your stake, one goal Man Utd win 1.75 your stake etc.).
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3.1 - 3.3. So a 3.3 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3.1 sell bet would need three goals or less to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.3 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.3 times your stake if the match ended 0-0. In the 0.95 'buy' Supremacy bet example above, if the game ended a draw the bet would lose 0.95 x your stake. If Man United won by one goal then it would lose 1.95 x your stake etc. And in the 0.75 'sell' Supremacy example above, the bet would lose 0.25 x your stake on a 1-0 City win, 1.25 x your stake on a 2-0 City win etc.

The big question will be whether Donnarumma comes straight in for James Trafford between the sticks for City. If he does and you fancy the big Italian to keep a clean sheet, then City To Win To Nil is 12/5.
Our Manchester United Total Goal Minutes spread betting quote is 56 - 64. So if you fancied City not to concede then a 'sell' bet at 56 would return 56 times your stake.
The last time this league fixture at the Etihad ended goalless was back in April 2017. Both Teams To Score is priced at 4/7 while a 0-0 draw is 12/1.
When was the last own goal scored in the Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium? Well, that was by Richard Dunne in the 75th minute of a 2-0 home City defeat to United way back in February 2005. Our Match Own Goal Minutes spread betting price is 5 - 8.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. So while a 'buy' bet at 8 would win 68 times your stake for a similar outcome of a 75th minute own goal, it would however lose 8 x your stake if there was not an own goal scored so be sure to set your stake size accordingly.
