How can I watch Brentford v Man Utd?Live on TNT Sports from 12.30pm.
The Premier League season has already brought plenty of excitement as we head into the sixth match-week, and each result is proving pivotal as a mere six points currently separate 2nd from 17th.
Home side Brentford had been expected to face struggles this season and so it has proved with several key names from last season's lineup departing in the summer transfer window - including former star forwards Bryan Mbeumo and Yoann Wissa, centre-back partnership Ilia Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen, and captain Christian Norgaard. The Bees currently sit just above the drop zone, but a win here would give a much-needed boost.
Man Utd, meanwhile, have had a turbulent start to the season, but there may finally be room for some optimism for Ruben Amorim. After league defeats to Arsenal and Man City sandwiching the Red Devils' debacle against Grimsby in the EFL Cup, a hard-fought victory against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday may have reignited some belief, and the visitors will be confident of their chances for a victory here - which incredibly would only be the first set of consecutive league victories during Amorim's almost-year-long tenure.

The Spreadex Sports fixed odds Match Odds betting prices have Man Utd as just-below Even money 19/20 favourites to secure three points in West London while our 2 Up early pay out market, which pays out when a team goes two goals up, has the Red Devils at 10/11.
Brentford meanwhile are 12/5 underdogs to grab the home victory (11/5 on our 2 Up market), with the draw at 14/5.
These two sides have met on 15 occasions since their first head-to-head way back in 1936, which ended in a 4-0 drubbing by the Bees. Interestingly, they are one of the few teams that have ever beaten Man Utd by four or more goals on multiple occasions, as they repeated the trick in the infamous 4-0 win in 2022 after a first-half blitz - which included a goal from Man Utd summer signing Mbeumo.
However, Utd have had the better of the rivalry overall with eight wins compared to Brentford's four, with only three meetings ending in draws. Brentford came out on top in the most recent match though, securing a 4-3 win at this ground in May 2025.
Who will you be backing in this one?

Our football spread betting prices have the Goal Supremacy as Man Utd/Brentford 0.4 - 0.6. This means if Utd won 3-0 (or by any other three goal margin), a 'buy' bet at 0.6 would mean a return of 2.4x your initial stake.
However, if you bought at 0.6 in Man Utd's favour and the match ended goalless, you would lose 0.6x your stake. Or, if Brentford were to grab another huge 4-0 home win, the market would settle negatively at -4 and a buy at 0.6 would result in a loss of 4.6x your opening stake.
You can calculate various make-ups by using our handy spread betting calculator, found here.
Our spread betting Total Goals line is 3 - 3.2. So a 3.2 'buy' bet would need at least four goals to be scored in the match to start turning a profit. Conversely, a 3 sell bet would need two goals or fewer to be scored in the match to turn a profit.
Remember that with spread betting, get the bet wrong and losses can exceed your stake/deposit. E.g. a 3.2 'buy' Total Goals bet would lose 3.2x your opening stake if the match ended 0-0, and so on.

The potential storyline of Bryan Mbeumo returning to haunt his former club will surely be on the mind of punters, but will there be other headlines made here? Benjamin Sesko is still looking for his first goal for Utd after his big-money summer move, while Brentford midfielder Kevin Schade scored twice at this ground in the 4-3 win over Utd in May - will he be on the scoresheet once more?
Our Total Goal Minutes spread betting quote is 150 - 160. So, if you fancied a repeat of the goal-fest in May which saw a massive TGM make-up of 390, buying at 160 would yield a 230x return on opening stake in the case of a settlement at 390.
You can back both teams to find the net here at 4/7, or 11/8 if you don't believe both sides will grab a goal.
