The next few days see Glasgow giants Rangers and Celtic in Champions League action, with a place in the league phase at stake. Tomorrow, it is Celtic’s turn to walk out at home as they face Kazakh outfit Kairat Almaty. GOLF – TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

The PGA Tour’s season-ending event takes place this weekend in Arizona as the top 30 players in the Tour standings battle it out for the $10m winner’s prize.

Once again, Scottie Scheffler is the favourite to triumph after last week’s success at the BMW Championship, where he reeled in Bob MacIntyre. The affable American is priced up at 6/4 to win, with Rory McIlroy at 7/1. Tommy Fleetwood has enjoyed a productive end to the season – albeit without winning any actual silverware – and he is chalked up as an 11/1 shot, with Ludvig Aberg at 14/1 and Russell Henley at 16/1.

RACING – EBOR FESTIVAL

For racing fans, the undoubted highlight of the week is the Ebor meeting at York, which kicks off with the Juddmonte Stakes on Wednesday. One of the best races of the year, six will head to post with Ombudsman and Delacroix likely vying for favouritism.
