The Main Men

In FPL, selecting the right players is key to success—especially with your captain earning double points each gameweek. We've highlighted the top predicted scorers who should be in serious contention for the armband.

Mohamed Salah – 224–236 FPL Points

For the 2025/26 season, we’ve predicted Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah to once again top the FPL scoring charts with a projected 224–236 points. Salah scored a colossal 344 points last season and has exceeded this year's prediction in three of the last four seasons, making him a near-essential pick.

Cole Palmer – 206–218 FPL Points

Cole Palmer might surprise some as the second-highest predicted scorer this season. Since joining Chelsea, Palmer has netted 37 goals and provided 23 assists in two seasons. At just £10.5 million—a full £4 million cheaper than Salah—he represents fantastic value for managers seeking both output and savings.

Erling Haaland – 200–212 FPL Points

Just behind Palmer is Manchester City’s goal machine, Erling Haaland, with a projected 200–212 points. With 85 goals in three Premier League seasons, including the single-season scoring record, Haaland remains one of the most reliable sources of points—particularly through goals, which are the most valuable in FPL.

Value Picks

El Hadji Malick Diouf – £4.5 million

One of Senegal’s standout performers in their win over England at the City Ground in June, Diouf brings both versatility and attacking threat. Whether deployed at left-back or wing-back, he offers dynamism and goal potential, scoring seven times for Slavia Prague last season. With less than 6% ownership, he could be a real differential.

Jørgen Strand Larsen – £6.5 million

The Norwegian striker ended last season on fire, scoring seven goals in his final nine games to finish with 14 in his debut Premier League campaign. With Matheus Cunha now departed, Strand Larsen is expected to lead the line for Wolves and likely assume penalty duties. A projected 132–142 points at £6.5 million makes him a strong value option.

Tijjani Reijnders – £5.5 million

If the Dutch midfielder secures a regular role in central midfield, he could be the bargain of the season. Compared stylistically to Ilkay Gündoğan, Reijnders took 77 shots for AC Milan last season (top 10 in Serie A) and netted 10 goals from an xG of 8.34—showing a clinical edge. We project 6–7 goals this season, and with assist and defensive contributions, he offers serious value at just £5.5 million.
