Weekend's Big Winning Bets 15.09.25

landing-page-weekend-150925

There was plenty of online betting action for punters to enjoy, with our traders particularly busy for the Manchester derby which saw City heap more misery on United. Away from that, there were plenty of big winning bets and we have found three from the weekend’s action where our canny traders were rewarded.

ENGLAND v SOUTH AFRICA – PHIL SALT RUNS (SETTLED AT 141)

If you are going to buy a batsman’s runs on our cricket spread betting markets, a record performance is just what you are after. Phil Salt delivered a record on Friday as his score of 141* was the highest made by an English batsman in a T20 match.

In an innings containing 15 fours and eight sixes, Salt ensured there was no hiding place for the South African attack, who also had to deal with a decent knock from Jos Buttler and captain Harry Brook.

Buyers at 30-34 were left feeling far from salty as they pouched a whopping win of 107x their stake.

NEW ZEALAND v SOUTH AFRICA – NZ/SA SUPREMACY (SETTLED AT -33)

South African sports fans may well remember Friday’s mauling in the cricket for a while, but they will remember Saturday morning as their Springbok side stunned New Zealand.

Trailing the All Blacks 10-7 at the break, the visiting South Africans were scintillating in the second stanza as they scored 36 unanswered points to run out 43-10 winners in Wellington. It was the heaviest defeat ever suffered by New Zealand, surpassing the 35-7 loss against the same opponents at Twickenham back in 2003.

Before the match, New Zealand were narrow favourites on the Supremacy which was available to trade at 2-4 before kick off in the Kiwi capital. However, with a record Springbok win on the scoreboard, it settled at -33 as sellers won 35x their stake.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN v EINTRACHT FRANKFURT – CROSS BOOKINGS (SETTLED AT 2400)

Kasper Hjulmand is the new man in the dugout at Bayer Leverkusen after Erik ten Hag was unceremoniously discharged after just two Bundesliga matches. The former Denmark manager watched his new charges get off to a winning start as they despatched Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1 at the weekend, but the big winning spread bet came courtesy of referee Deniz Aytekin.

Leverkusen’s Robert and Ezequiel Fernandez were both sent off for second yellow offences with former Real Madrid Lucas Vazquez man also being booked for the hosts. Frankfurt, for their part, were shown three yellow cards, which was great news for buyers on Cross-Bookings at 400-470.

This football spread betting market settled on Leverkusen’s booking point total (80), multiplied by Frankfurt’s (30). With a final makeup of 2400, buyers won a huge 1925x their stake.

Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
