Daily Spread Betting Round-up
Action from across the pond was amongst the online betting highlights as our spread betting punters went toe-to-toe with our traders at the US Open and in the NFL. There was also a record-breaking England performance to enjoy this weekend and we dig out three big winning bets from all three events in today’s betting blog

England salvaged some pride from their ODI series with South Africa as they defeated the Proteas by a team record 342 runs on Sunday.
Having lost the first two encounters, England batted first and racked up their highest ODI total on these shores since 2018 as centuries from Jacob Bethell and Joe Root guided the hosts to an insurmountable 414-5 off 50 overs.
The tourists were always going to struggle to chase down such a total, but with Jofra Archer in sublime form, they never even hit three figures. From 7-4, they did at least make it to 72 all out, thanks to a tail partnership from Corbin Bosch and Keshav Maharaj.
Cricket spread betting punters who bought England on the Supremacy at 19-29 were in line for a huge win, thanks to England’s big batting. With the spread settling at 342, buyers scooped a win of 313x their stake.
For the third time this year, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz met in a grand slam final and for the second time this year, it was the Spaniard who came out on top with a thrilling victory in New York.
In an engaging match, Alcaraz’s service game was the difference maker as the Murcian magician bludgeoned his opponent into submission, winning 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4. Having seen two championship points come and go, Alcaraz finally got over the line with a booming 131mph ace – a fitting way to end the game.
For tennis spread betting punters who had sided against Sinner, this was a good result, and a sell on the Italian’s Total Points at 129-134 was a profitable trade. With Sinner struggling to get into Alcaraz’s service games, he mustered only 89 points across the four sets as buyers netted a win of 40x their stake.
The NFL got underway this weekend, and Sunday was a great day for unders backers, with points at a premium in plenty of matches. Our aggregate spread for Total Points across all 12 Sunday matches was 537-547 before play began.
For sellers, the pick of the bunch was Houston Texans’ trip to the LA Rams in a match which yielded just 23 points. The 49ers got past Seattle Seahawks 17-13 with three other matches seeing 33 points scored as sellers began to get excited.
With a final makeup of 437, those who had sold Total Points across the whole day touched down with a win of a round 100x their stake.
Please note that these are examples of winning bets from the past week, and it is important to remember that spread betting carries a high level of risk to your capital and can result in losses larger than your initial stake/deposit.
